Country Lavender
Ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Water, Lavender Buds, Purple Mica, Lavender EO
My mom lives out in the country next to the Bitterroot mountains in Montana. I cannot grow lavender where I live because the elevation is to high. Mom and I love lavender, and she can grow it abundantly. It's part of her signature, and it makes me happy to incorporate a part of her garden and personality into this soap. This soap is colored with purple mica, to reflect the beautiful color of lavender. I did not grind up the lavender, but chose to leave the buds whole, giving it a real rustic appearance with a little exfoliant. The creamy white top gives it a vintage look and a fresh appearance. Made with only the essential oil of lavender-angustifolia.
